Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Foily mobile application. By downloading or using Foily, you agree to these Terms and Apple's applicable terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Collector reference tool

Foily provides automated card-identification results and general market-value estimates for informational and recreational use. Results may be incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. Foily does not authenticate cards, assign professional grades, guarantee condition, or make offers to buy or sell. Verify important details with the printed card and qualified professionals before financial, insurance, or trading decisions.

3. Subscriptions

Foily offers Weekly and Yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. Available prices and billing periods are shown in the app before purchase. The Weekly plan may include a three-day introductory free trial when Apple confirms eligibility; the Yearly plan has no introductory trial unless the app explicitly shows one before purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
• Apple handles billing, refunds, trial eligibility, and payment disputes.

4. Your photos and conduct

You retain your rights in photos you submit. You grant Foily and its processing providers the limited permission needed to transmit and analyze a photo to provide the requested identification. You must have the right to use submitted content and must not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, or sensitive personal content.

5. Third-party property

Trading card game names, card artwork, characters, trademarks, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Foily is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those owners. Foily's own software, design, and branding remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

6. Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, supported games, market-data coverage, or service providers. Network services may be unavailable without notice. You may stop using Foily at any time and delete locally stored collection data from the app.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foily is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from reliance on identification or valuation results. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how Foily handles data. We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and changing the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
